Update to sessions available on a Mental Health Care Plan

Under recent changes announced this week by the Federal Government, you may be eligible for up to 20 sessions on a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). You can get a MHCP from your GP or psychiatrist. When you attend our practice on Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), you will be entitled to a rebate of $128.40 per session, which helps cover part of the consultation fee. You will be able to claim this for up to 10 sessions initially, with the next 10 sessions available after a review with your referring GP or psychiatrist.
